I’m Chloe, I’m twenty-one years old and I’m located in Southampton, UK.

Currently studying for a BA (Hons) in Popular Music Journalism at Southampton Solent University but the dream is to be an A&R amongst the hustle and bustle of daily life. You know what they say: you can take the girl out of the city, but you can’t take the city out of the girl.

Since coming to university, I’ve had the opportunity to do things that I thought I’d never do. I’ve had the chance to sit down with Paramore drummer/HalfNoise creator, Zac Farro at The Joiners and I’ve been published in print and online through Audio Addict and Generation X, both run by Solent students. I have also written for underground dance music company, Goat Shed.

Using this blog as a means of creating an online portfolio for my writing. You can expect album reviews, live reviews and on rare occasions, the odd feature piece. All opinions are my own unless stated otherwise. Let’s see where this takes us.
